Testimony
His Story
The founder's testimony, in his own words — the road that led from a Charlotte street corner to the restoration of the Center.
Expelled from his Myrtle Beach high school three months before graduation, he moved to Charlotte at seventeen. Selling audio equipment from a van, he was robbed at gunpoint by eight men and shot in the wrist as he ran. He carries the scar as a stigmata.
In jail, sober and waiting on a meal, a great ball of energy fell from the sky into the center of his body — as if the whole kingdom imploded and landed in his center. His first great epiphany.
On Father's Day, at age thirty, he was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Myrtle Beach — the same age Christ was baptized. He received the new temple name Eli.
On December 21st, ten years to the day after his baptism, he went underground and made his decisive turn: he stopped calling himself a sinner, seeing that the word was a cover for the Center — the centerpiece of the masterpiece.
He met Ronnie and Roxy, and together they launched Reverse Your Soul, an eleven-episode talk show. Twelve people joined a case study, were taught never to call themselves sinners, and received certificates of righteousness.
The three set out toward Salt Lake City to restore the work. In time Ronnie fell away to old relationships; God consolidated the work into him and Roxy — anchors and placeholders for the first parents.
Homeless in Myrtle Beach, he bought a 1994 GMC Vandura from a DJ named Steven Michael Stone for $1,500 — the exact amount of his disability check. A fire broke out inside it; looking through the back door at the flames, he saw the tomb — and the throne of fire of the Holy Ghost.
He drove the bus from sand to sand — Myrtle Beach to the West Coast — to Bob Marley's Exodus, then on to Salt Lake City, parking across from the Salt Lake Temple through its years of renovation, watching it like a husband at his wife's bedside in labor.
He carried a laminated 8×10 photograph of a young woman he calls Sky as a vision board for his eternal soulmate — priming the pump into two-way conversation with God, and resolving the primordial loneliness of the first estate.
He returned to Myrtle Beach with Roxy. His family disowned him over his beliefs — ostracized from his hometown for refusing to call himself a sinner.
He saw Optimus Prime in the curtains of his bus and received Concepticon — a framework of symbols distinguishing the Church of Jesus the Christ from every institution that came before it.
He stands as a forerunner — not meant to be famous, but to get people to take the story upon themselves. The claimant at the judgment bar, presenting the evidence: you were never a sinner. You are the Center.
